I’ve updated my About Now page (where did those last three months go?) to outline what I’m up to currently with photography and other areas of my life, please go and take a look.
How about you, what are you up to in your life – photography and otherwise – right now?

Hey Dan, right now, I’m enjoying the school holidays with my boys in my new place. It’s been quiet cold for the past few days but we still enjoy the afternoon sunshine here.
I’m starting to work on a new photo zine, most likely using Blurb Bookwright software which I’m very familiar with.
The late afternoon/evening sun is lovely isn’t it? Much better than being dark by 4 like in the winter months. It’s been so cold over here too, we had a couple of days in March where it hit 22/23C, then a week later it was -2 or -3. Now the temperature is generally bumbling around 8 or 9, so layers still needed!
I keep planning to explore photo books (of my own photos) of some kind but just never get to it. Well done you!
I’m doing a lot of waiting as the weather is finally getting warmer but we still have lots of snow in inconvenient places – like on the road to the cabin. Lots of things I need to do before venturing out there, and it keeps getting harder to do things. Decade number seven is proving to be a bear.
Hope the weather continues to warm up and encourage you out more Marc. It’s been far too cold for April over here, and we had snow last Monday (after a couple of days of 22/23C a fortnight before).
There are still covid19 restrictions so i cant enjoy my camera.
Sorry to hear that Denis, are there not places you can walk locally? We’re still in a partial lockdown here, but even at its most extreme we’ve been permitted to walk locally for exercise, so there have always been photography options – plus around the house and garden!
Right now as usual I’m looking for reasons (and excuses) to take some pictures. It’s spring so there’s finally more things for me to shoot, finally.
My recent acquisition (HD DA 18-50mm f/4-5.6) is extremely good at taking pictures of textures so that is the kind of thing I am trying to find. Otherwise, just whatever I can point my glass and sensor at 🙂
Chris as you know I’m sure, I’m a big fan of photographing textures, usually things like rusting metal, flaking woodwork and crumbling gravestones…
