Very silvery! It almost has an IR look.
Thanks Jim, yes I thought that too. The sunlight was so bright, and reflecting off the water and the leaves to give this effect.
Quite different from your usual images (wide view, no close up, …). Almost sounds a bit strange from you!
Thanks Joel, yes I don’t really often shoot from this distance or get so much in the frame, usually because there’s too much in the frame to make sense of. In this case the simplicity of the scene made it possible.
Lovely. I’ve been playin with a few images in B&W. I find that I need to start with a fully processed color one that has plenty of contrast and texture. I am using IP Noire by Blake Rudis.
Thanks Sherry. I agree about needing contrast and texture, those are two key elements in b/w photos for me.
